soothe ™ Calming Honey Oat Organic Yellowroot Balm
This balm is made from a recipe passed down from my grandmother who was part Cherokee/part Appalachian, and a firm believer in herbal remedies. The balm soothes skin affected by psoriasis, eczema, and other "angry" issues. It is NOT a cure for any of these conditions and is not evaluated by the FDA. It's just something my grandmother passed down to me many, many years ago. I made some for my daughter when she was having a massive flare-up and it helped. I have also had other friends and colleagues test it. Not everyone has the same results, but all reported relief. While the ingredients are fairly straightforward, the process is incredibly labor-intensive. It used to take months to make. With specialized equipment, it still takes a minimum of three days to process each tin, so we do not rush order this item. While the recipe is proprietary, we do guarantee that the ingredients are 100% natural and includes pure beeswax and organic yellowroot powder.
*Please note that the balm does contain a poultice made with a high concentration of yellowroot and can leave a faint discoloration on very fair skin. This will wash off with soap and water (recommend using Blackthorne Apothecary soothe™ Queen Bee bar soap for inflamed skin.)
